Bayer MaterialScience has set itself an ambitious target: to guarantee consistently high standards in terms of quality, environmental protection and safety at all sites throughout the world. To achieve this, the company has introduced centrally coordinated management systems for quality and environmental protection, audited by external local certification companies.

N.B.: ISO 14001 environment management certificates have so far been predominantly site-specific. QM certificates are sometimes not restricted to a particular site and are thus valid globally.
