We also focus on developing innovative new products and technologies for building envelope applications, architectural glazing, alternative energy solutions, and intelligent surfaces.
New trends within the healthcare industry, both societal and technological, also present significant opportunities for growth. The needs of an aging baby boomer generation for example, is certain to increase the demands for both institutional long term care and home care products and services. As a leading supplier of engineered polymers for the medical and healthcare industry, Bayer MaterialScience is uniquely positioned to offer innovative solutions to meet the needs of our aging population.
