Both Desmopan® and Texin® plastics are thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (TPU). Each combines many of the valuable characteristics of rubber and thermoplastic materials and, on top of that, benefits from the strengths of polyurethane chemistry, which forms its chemical backbone. The trademark of TPUs is their rich variety and their outstanding versatility. Their properties can be adjusted by the modular principle through careful selection of the raw materials.
