VMI - Software.

We prefer the VMI-system provided by ORBIT LOGISTICS, Leverkusen. This is a web-based information-system.

The information are distributed, displayed and interpreted by a web browser. Within the whole system the data is exchanged via TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol) beginning from the recording to the interpretation of the data.

Stock data from the customer will be queried in cyclic intervals, e.g. from silos, high rack stock areas or process control systems.

Furthermore it is possible to transmit forecast data out of product planning systems or ERP-systems so that the supplier is able to arrange the material disposal.
